The Ennis Whiskey Club have organised a series of Irish Brand Ambassador tastings around Ennis again for 2024. Our September event was the Method & Madness Whiskey range from Midleton Distillery presented by Prestige Brand Ambassador Matthew Smyth and Micro Distillery Head Distiller Barrett Stapleton.
The whiskey tasting consisted of 5 whiskey products and one cask sample. We started with the Method & Madness Rye & Malt Whiskey, which was followed by the Single Malt, before moving on to the Single Grain. After a quick break, we resumed with the Pot Still finished in French Chestnut casks, their limited edition Pot Still from Ambruana casks and rounded off the tasting with a Pot Still cask sample from a Garryana Oak cask.
