The Ennis Whiskey Club have organised a series of Irish Brand Ambassador tastings around Ennis again for 2024. Our May event was the Keeper's Heart Whiskey range from O'Shaughnessy Distillery presented by Ger Garland.
Ger is a native of Dublin, Ireland. With over two decades of experience in the Whiskey Business Ger brings a huge passion for Whiskey as well as a wealth of knowledge. He is one of the most recognisable faces in Whiskey having spent the last 9 years sharing his passion for Whiskey representing some of the most well known names in Irish Whiskey in both Ireland and the United States!.
The whiskey tasting consisted of 5 whiskeys. We started with the Keeper's Heart 10 year old Irish Single Malt Whiskey, which was followed by their Irish + American, the Irish + Bourbon, before getting into a single cask sample of Rye whiskey from the O'Shaughnessy distillery. We finished out the tasting with a US exclusive, the Keeper's Heart Irish + Bourbon Cask Strength.
