Starward Distillery was established in 2007 in downtown Melbourne by Melbourne native David Vitale who had been inspired by Tasmania’s Lark Distillery. Starward later partnered with Diageo enabling it to grow production and reach world markets.

Starward sources all ingredients within a day’s drive of the distillery, and uses wine barrels from the nearby Yarra Valley and Barossa Valley.

Starward Left Field has no age statement, is matured using 100% French oak red wine barrels and bottled at 40% abv. It is non chill-filtered with natural colouring.
