Swedish single malt whisky from the Mackmyra Whisky Village, just outside Gavle

Mackmyra is Sweeden's first whisky distillery. It was founded in 1999 and since then, the distillery has gone from strength to strength bringing a broad portfolio of products to the market.

The distillery partnered with a Finnish technology company called Foursquare to create an alogorithm that used artifical intelligent services built on Microsoft's Azure cloud platform. Mackmyra input lots of information into the alogorthm like the recipes from award winning blends, customer feedback, sales data, etc, and it generated the recipe for Intelligens AI which was then curated by Master Blender Angela D’Orazio.

Intelligens AI is bottled at 46.1% and the bottle contains a Near Field Communication (NFC) tag that smartphone users can use to access more information about the bottling.
