Speyside Scotch Whisky from Glenrothes distillery

Glenrothes, the brand, is owned by the London Wine & Spirit Merchants Berry Brothers & Rudd. The Glenrothes distillery, buildings and equipment, is owned by the Edrington Group. Most of the Glenrothes releases are Vintage releases. They specify the year distilled and bottle it only when they believe it's ready. In more recent times, the Malt Master, John Ramsay, was tasked with creating a house-style character expression of ripe fruits, citrus, vanilla and hints of spice. The result is the Glenrothes Select Reserve (~€50), bottled at 43% ABV.
