Highland Scotch Whisky from Deanston Distillery

Deanston is one of the less well know Highland distilleries in Scotland. It was established in 1965 when an old cotton mill on the banks of the river Teith was converted into a distillery. Owned by the Distell Group, Deanston is self-sufficient in electricity with the river Teith powering it's hydro-energy facility.

This release from Deanston is an 18 year old single malt, matured in ex-bourbon casks. It was finished in first-fill ex-bourbon casks and bottled at 46.3% ABV.
