Lough Ree Distillery in Lanesborough, Co Longford was set up by Sheila Clancy and her brothers Michael and Peter, producing its first spirit in 2018. The micro distillery now has a visitor centre and has been the recipient of a number of national and international awards for their gin, vodka and whiskey.
Bart’s whiskey, named after the founders’ father, is a complex blend of five components namely grain, pot still and peated malt with malt whiskeys finished in rye & oloroso casks.
Bart’s is a non chill-filtered whiskey with no added colour, bottled in Lough Ree Distillery, Lanesborough at 46% abv.
