Located in Portland, Oregon, Westward Distillery was founded by former brewer and wine maker Christian Krogstad in 2004, a native of Seattle with a background in the hospitality sector.

Made using locally malted barley, Westward Single Malt is double distilled and matured in lightly charred American oak barrels. Westward carries no age statement.

It is non chill-filtered and is bottled at 45% abv.
