Co-founders Don Poffenroth and Kent Fleischmann created Dry Fly Distilling in Spokane, Washington, USA out of a passion for fly-fishing and the Pacific Northwest. Launched in 2007, Dry Fly sources grain in family farms located within thirty miles of the distillery.

The Straight Cask Strength 3yo Wheat Whiskey is aged in fifty-three gallon American oak barrels. It is bottled at 60% abv.
