Irish Whiskey from the West Cork Distillery

West Cork Distillery was started back in 2003 by childhood friends, John O'Connell and the McCarthy brothers, Ger and Denis. John comes from a food science background, while Ger and Denis worked in the fishing industry. Their humble beginnings in Union Hall led them forward to setting up in Skibbereen in 2008, where they are located to this day. Their growth has been exceptional, and they are now one of the biggest operations in Ireland.

This whiskey forms part of the West Cork Maritime series. Made from 100% Irish Malted Barley, it was matured in first fill ex-bourbon barrels and finished in Calvados Garnier casks. It's non-chill filtered, no added colouring and released at 43% ABV.
