Cadenhead’s Club 1980 40 Year Old

Scotch Whisky from an undisclosed distillery

William Cadenhead’s Ltd is Scotland’s oldest independent bottler, founded in 1842. Cadenhead’s was originally based in Aberdeen until 1972 when it was bought by J & A Mitchell & Co. Ltd, who also own Springbank and Glengyle Distilleries in Campbeltown. Cadenhead’s specialise in bottling single cask or small batch whisky, gin, rum, cognac and other spirits from across all of Scotland and the rest of the world.

This is one of only 468 bottles released exclusively for members of the Cadenhead's Club.

The components of this blend were distilled in 1980, matured in a single sherry butt and bottled at 44.7% ABV, without colouring or chill filtration.
